This beautiful cottage is on the National Register, Tennessee Historical Commission and was built in 1909 as the Walland Power Plant. Back in the Old Days….. The dam just above the cottage diverted water from the Little River to run under the power plant to turn a large water wheel that was hooked to a generator that supplied power to the local tannery. This cottage is located on one the most beautiful sections if the Little River.

Serenity
is a two bedroom, two bath, 1700 sq foot cottage on the side of the Little River just 8 miles from Townsend and 11 miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It has a large wood burning fireplace with a natural rock hearth in the great room, a screened in back porch that you can sit in the swinging chair and watch the river go by as the water cascades across the rocks. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a queen size sleeper sofa bed and an air hockey game in the Great room. A fully equipped kitchen with all the pots and pans you need and a dishwasher so you won’t have dishpan hands on vacation. Walk out your back door and you can fish or swim in your back yard. If you prefer the cement swimming hole instead of the river to swim in, it is only a short walk to the pool and the playground area.

It's just minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cades Cove, horseback Riding, Tuckaleechee Caverns, Kayaking and much more.

If you're looking for nightlife, shows, and outlet shopping, Gatlinburg, action-packed Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood are just 30 minutes away. Only 20 Miles over the Foolhills Parkway to Hwy 129 and the Dragon Tail. If you don't know about the Dragon, it's 318 curves in 11 miles of road on Hwy 129.

$1000.oo per Week or $198.oo per day with a 2 day minimum.
 Sales tax is not included.

Only 20 miles from Hwy 129 and the start of the Dragon Tail!
