To get to the Tail of the Dragon with its 318 curves in 11 miles from Misty River Cabins & Campground, you turn right out of our driveway, go ½ mile to the bridge.
Turn RIGHT and cross the Little River and pull up to HWY 321.
Turn LEFT on HWY 321 and go ½ mile to the FOOTHILLS Parkway.
Turn RIGHT onto the FOOTHILLS Parkway.
Its 17 miles across the parkway.
When you get to the end if the parkway, turn LEFT and your at the start of the Tail of the Dragon.
